AyA Kitchens is proud to announce our new Barrie showroom location is ready to serve Simcoe County and surrounding areas. Our grand opening party featured designers, builders, influencers along with the Mayor of Barrie, Jeff Lehman. Join us on a tour of Chef Dev's awesome condo kitchen renovation. This famous Toronto chef was in desperate need of a kitchen update to be able to film TV segments and cooking classes. Chef Dev turned to AyA to collaborate and bring his studio kitchen dreams to life!

AyA Kitchens is proud to announce we are taking our commitment to the environment one giant leap forward with the commencement of a 500 kW solar rooftop project on our manufacturing facility. AyA will be installing a rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) system that will be comprised of 1148 solar panels and will generate approximately 550 MWh of renewable energy on average, per year.

The Friends of Ruby Home is a custom-built transitional house for LGBTQI2S youth in the greater Toronto area. The facility was brought to life with the support of the The Daniels Corporation and designed by Yabu Pushelberg. The welcoming transition home supports lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex and two-spirit youth (aged 16-29) through counselling, housing, practical assistance and multiple activities.

House & Home alum Joel Bray transforms another Victorian home in Toronto's Leslieville neighborhood and its breathtaking. The Egale Centre will be Canada’s first and Toronto’s only facility that will combine the proven counselling service of Egale Youth Outreach with transitional and emergency housing that is exclusively dedicated to serving homeless LGBTIQ2S Youth. This year at the Interior Design Show in Toronto (Jan.17-20) The Backcountry Hut Company unveiled the much anticipated Great Lakes Backcountry Cabin. The IDS19 booth and cabin quickly became one of the show favourites, it was something fresh, different and created a buzz. The interior/exterior design and the experience of the living space really left you inspired about design and small spaces. Beautiful design comes in all shapes and sizes.

At the 2019 Interior Design Show (Jan.17-20) The Backcountry Hut Company will unveil the Great Lakes Backcountry Cabin imagined by Vancouver’s Leckie Studio Architecture + Design. A modular, easy-to-assemble shelter that takes cues from Ontario lakeside retreats. Stay tuned for IDS19, where the Backcountry Cabin will be dressed to impress: expect to find AyA Kitchens and Baths, Miele cooking appliances, loos by Blu Bathworks, Loewen Windows, Mutina Stone Tile surfacing and VELUX skylights throughout.

AyA Kitchens Annual Christmas Toy Drive for SickKids Foundation was a huge success! Every year the toy drive donation has grown in size but this year we knocked it out of the park by more than doubling last years donation. We collected two huge over flowing boxes of new unwrapped toys for the children and families at Sick Kids hospital. We are so grateful for everyone's generosity and hope to do even better next year!

Congratulations to Hariri Pontarini Architects for an outstanding job on Casey House and winning the 2018 Governor General’s Medal in Architecture. AyA is proud to have played a small part in this exceptional project.

AyA Kitchens planted 400 trees with Pete North and the John H. Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape, and Design team and the North Design office. The first stage of many to re-naturalize and fulfill the AyA Kitchens and Baths phytoremediation project.

AyA's Murphy Bed/Desk functions as a sturdy desk for all your electronic devices and home office materials. A great feature about the desk is that items smaller than 5" can be left on the surface even when the unit is in the bed position. In its pulled down bed form, this unit fits a standard double size mattress.

AyA's pull-out table is the perfect solution for small and challenging spaces or condos. The sturdy dining table seats 4 and folds to hide neatly into a drawer when not in use.

AyA Kitchens and Baths in partnership with U31 Design + Cleaf (Weston Premium Woods} unveiled the Future of Canadian Living at the 2018 Interior Design Show in Toronto. The conceptual tree house idea and structure really inspired onlookers in attendance. IDS awarding us with the silver award for best booth. (401 sq ft to 600 sq ft category)

AyA Kitchens in collaboration with award-winning design firm Partisans will be unveiling CUBI at the Interior Design Show. (Jan.19-22) CUBI is the art of flexibility. Conceived as a versatile, sculptural series of cubic geometries that proliferate possibilities, the multi-purpose units can be used as storage, walls, benches, cooking and dining surfaces as well as trusses for light fixtures and even planting. CUBI revolutionizes design through mass customization. Creative yet practical, whimsical yet individualized, no one CUBI scheme is alike; yet each offers the same flexibility required to meet the challenges of the tightest of spaces or most open of concepts.
